Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has accused a recently hired staff member of making unauthorized transfers totaling ₦3 million from her bank account.
In a video shared on social media on December 30, 2025, Martins explained that the 20-year-old employee, brought on board two weeks earlier as her videographer and business sales manager, allegedly transferred ₦2 million from her Zenith Bank account on December 22, followed by another ₦1 million shortly after.
The actress said she initially thought the first transaction was a banking error and only realized the involvement of her staff later, as she had been attending a high-profile event which delayed her investigation. In the video, Martins appeared visibly emotional, and she later publicly praised Zenith Bank for its swift detection of the irregular activity, while apologizing for initially doubting the institution.
Martins noted that the incident has made her more cautious about hiring staff in the future, particularly as she continues to manage her businesses and charitable initiatives.
