Former Big Brother Naija housemate Danboskid has opened up about his unexpected transition into Nollywood, revealing that he landed an audition for the long-running television drama Tinsel just one day after his eviction from the reality show.

“I got the audition call for Tinsel the day after I left the Big Brother house,” Danboskid said. “I was still trying to catch my breath, trying to understand the whirlwind I had just come out of, and boom I got a message to come in and audition. I almost didn’t believe it.”

“Some people assume reality TV is the end of the road, but for me, it was just the beginning,” he said. “Getting that role on Tinsel affirmed that I was on the right path. It gave me the confidence to keep pushing.”
